On Nov. 9, Ukraine‘s Commander in Chief Oleksandr Syrskyi stated that Ukrainian drones “destroyed” or damaged over 52,000 Russian targets during October, highlighting their increasing impact on the battlefield.
Syrskyi stated that the targets included more than 4,000 Russian soldiers, 221 pieces radio equipment and 129 artillery system.
“Drone technology develops rapidly, and we need to be one step ahead,” the general said following a meeting with commanders from drone units.

Sources at the Security Service of Ukraine told the Kyiv Independent that on Nov. 9, Ukrainian drones attacked the Aleksinsky Chemical Plant, which produces ammunition and gunpowder for the Russian military in Russia’s Tula Oblast.
Ukraine uses drone technology to gain a competitive advantage on the battlefield where its outnumbered, outgunned soldiers are slowly pulling back.
