The Constitutional Court of Georgia adopted the same approach as the Constitutional Court of Russia. Tamar Kordzaia said, “I am sorry that the judges of this country did not find themselves guarding state interests. However, on October 26 the citizens of Georgia are going to protect this country, its democracy, and the European perspective.”
Tamar Kordzaia also noted that the judges of Georgia’s Constitutional Court shared the fate of 84 deputies, who treasonously accepted the so-called Russian Law. Tamar Kordzaia said, “I’m sorry that the judges of this country were not found as guardians of state interest, but on October 26, Georgians will protect this nation, this country’s democracy, and this country’s European perspective.”
Information: The Constitutional Court of Georgia has not complied with the request for suspension of the law “On Transparency of Foreign Influence“. The court also recognized that the lawsuits submitted were partially admissible. This means that substantive discussions will start.
