Tamar Kordzaia is one of the leaders in the “Unity – National Movement“. She said that they will request the creation of a team of international experts to investigate the violations and technical flaws discovered during the elections. She said at the briefing today that the opposition parties do not accept the election results.
“Based on the problems we have identified, we demand that a group of international specialists be created to conduct a full audit of the equipment in the CEC which should be sealed at this time. The verification machine should be operated, followed by the loaded lists and then the verification receipts. Also, the current flow in the tablets must be verified throughout the day. This is crucial to ensure that the “Georgian Dream“, and the European future of Georgia, does not overtake the government.
We are convinced that if this fraud had not taken away at least 12% of the votes from “Unity-National Movement”, then the opposition would have been in power today. All the data and all the calculations confirm the large scale of fraud that was committed in the elections.
A commission of international experts, consisting of both technical and documental experts, should be immediately created to perform a full audit, technology-related, on the documents at the CEC. In this case, it is the only way for us to survive,” said Kordzaia.
She provided detailed information to the public today about possible violations that were detected during the election. Tamar Kordzaia said that they have video footage of a citizen voting in Dmanisi without an ID card and only using a photo from his phone. She said that many violations of this nature and others were observed during the elections on October 26.
