Tbilisi City Hall announced that after Easter it will begin rehabilitation of Tsereteli Avenue, Shalikashvili Bridge (Didube) and the Municipal Government Meeting on Wednesday.
Kakha Kaladze warned the project would be a nuisance to citizens and drivers. He claimed that “carrying such large-scale works, similar to the completed project, is impossible without causing inconvenience.”
Kaladze said that the underground communications system, as well as the damaged roads, will be completely overhauled. New lighting will also be installed and pavements will arranged in the scope of the project.
“We all wish that the streets and avenues in Tbilisi tomorrow will be modern, European, and renewed. I hope that the community will support me. “There will be discomfort but we must get through it together,” Kaladze stated.
