The NASA Space Apps Challenge was held over two days in Tbilisi at the Georgian National University SEU, bringing together scientists and coders. Participants were given NASA’s open datasets to solve global challenges in a creative way. Industry professionals and experts acted as mentors.
The event, which was supported by Georgia‘s Innovation and Technology Agency, with the help of local partners such as Startup Buro and Cellfie, IT Step Academy and Planetarium and others, helped create a community that encourages innovation and change.
Participants were divided into groups to compete for the chance to advance in the global finals and other prizes.
