**Parliament Session: Ex-President Compared to “Mummy”**
A session of the Temporary Investigative Commission of the Parliament was held today. During this session, a former prisoner named Giorgi Zerekidze spoke about the harsh treatment he received in prison.
Zerekidze said that during his imprisonment, he heard government officials talking about the need for severe punishment to implement the “zero tolerance” policy. He believed that his story was meant to be an example of this policy.
**Tea Tsulukiani‘s Statement**
After hearing Zerekidze’s statement, Tea Tsulukiani, the Chairperson of the Temporary Investigative Commission, made a comment about ex-President Mikheil Saakashvili. She compared him to a “mummy” and suggested that he might be listening to their discussion.
Tsulukiani said: “I wonder if our mummy in Vivamedi is watching and listening to your monologue. How interesting.” She noted that she had an obligation not to show emotion, but felt it was acceptable to address Saakashvili like this once.
