**Tension in Abkhazia as Tear Gas is Used Against Protesters**
The situation remains tense in occupied Abkhazia, where a protest rally near the so-called parliament building has turned violent. The protesters were met with tear gas by law enforcement agencies.
According to reports from the “D News Abkhazia” Telegram channel, protesters broke down a part of the fence surrounding the parliament area and entered it. A clash then occurred between the protesters and police representatives, who were threatened with eggs and bottles.
**Parliament Session Fails**
Today was supposed to be the day that the so-called deputies in the Abkhazian parliament would ratify a project for an investment agreement between Sokhumi (the capital of Abkhazia) and Moscow. However, the deputies failed to approve the agenda, and as a result, the session did not take place.
**Protesters Demand Action**
The protesters are demanding that the “deputies” hold a meeting and vote against the project.
