Lopota Spa Resort continues to bring together tennis enthusiasts. The tennis tournament LOPOTA Cup 2024 will be held at Lopota courts from 10-13 October.
This year, the prize money for the LOPOTA CUP has been increased to 35,000 GEL.
The tournament is played in both singles and pairs, and between men and women. The games are played according to the Olympic system, which is 2 full sets plus a super tiebreak.
Goga Maisuradze founded Lopota in the early 1990s. He was the one who initiated the tournament. After a short hiatus in 2022, Lopota hosted a tournament on newly constructed, professionally equipped tennis court. The tournament was a great success and has become an annual event.
The main sponsors of the LOPOTA Cup 2024 tournament include VR Holding and Sarajishvili.
The tournament is sponsored by Water Bakuriani (Water Bakuriani), Porsche Center Tbilisi (Porsche Center Tbilisi), World Class Georgia (Paul Georgia), and Chateau Buera.
