**Batumelebi Founder to Face Trial**
Mzia Amaghlobeli, the founder of Batumelebi, will go on trial at Batumi City Court. The court date is set for January 14 at 11:00 AM.
The judge will decide on a preventive measure against Mzia Amaghlobeli. This means they will consider what restrictions to put on her before the trial.
Mzia Amaghlobeli was formally charged today with an offense under Article 353 of the Criminal Code. This law makes it illegal to assault a police officer.
As you may remember, Mzia Amaghlobeli was arrested during a protest near the Batumi Police Department. She was first released after about two hours in detention. However, she was quickly detained again just minutes later near the same department.
