**Opposition Parties Refuse to Legitimize Parliament**
The ruling Georgian Dream party is getting ready for the first session of parliament on November 25. But opposition parties are not happy about it. They claim that the elections in October were unfair and want nothing to do with the new parliament.
Despite this, the ruling party seems to be ignoring their concerns. The opposition parties have organized a protest rally near the parliament building. Protesters from all over Georgia gathered there on Sunday evening and plan to stay overnight. This is meant to show the ruling party that they don’t recognize the legitimacy of the parliament.
**Police Warning**
The Interior Ministry has warned protesters not to exceed their allowed limits during the protests. If they do, police may take “appropriate measures”. President Salome Zurabishvili made a sarcastic comment on this: “They could have just said ‘we will arrest everyone'”.
