The Varan is capable of towing a 300 kg trailer or carrying 500 kg. It has a range of up to 200 km in rough terrain.
On 21 October, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry has officially greenlit the domestically-produced Varan buggy for military service, expanding the country‘s arsenal of locally-made combat vehicles. The Ministry’s Press Service announced that the all terrain vehicle had been codified and accepted to be supplied to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Ukraine continues to integrate various types of military gear, both from allies as well as domestically produced, in the midst of the ongoing Russo Ukrainian war. The Defense Ministry has accelerated its codification process in order to officially approve the use these systems within the Armed Forces.
