University Offers High-Quality Education

EWUNI was set up to help students in the South Caucasus region learn more about medicine and healthcare. To become good doctors, medical students need hands-on experience. At EWUNI, students get this kind of experience by working with two well-known medical institutions: the Alexandre Aladashvili’s University Clinic and the Tbilisi Balneological Resort. These centers have a long history of providing medical care and education.
The university is currently focusing on teaching medicine to students who will be doctors after they graduate. The program, called One-Cycle Medical Doctor, is taught in English and is recognized internationally. Students learn about modern methods and technologies, as well as the latest advances in scientific research and literature. They also get to experience Georgian medicine traditions.
EWUNI worked with a group of experts from administration and academia to create this program. The curriculum was developed based on international best practices and the needs of students. After completing the program, graduates will be awarded a Medical Doctor degree.
