Enemy Forces Change Tactics in Sumy Region
The enemy is using small infantry units, not just reconnaissance and sabotage groups (RSG), to try and control the northern part of Sumy region. This was reported by Vadym Mysnyk, a spokesperson for the operational-tactical grouping of forces (OTG) “Siversk”.
Mysnyk said that the tactics used by RSG change with the season. But now, the enemy is focusing on combat activity and using small infantry groups to fight against Ukraine’s Defense Forces. The enemy is also trying to use military equipment along the border, but it is being detected and destroyed before it can cause any harm.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are working hard to prevent the enemy from penetrating their territory. Mysnyk said that the Defense Forces are using all available weaponry, including against RSGs, to protect Ukraine’s borders. He added that there have been no attempts by the enemy to advance in the Chernihiv region since the beginning of the year.
Situation Remains Under Control
The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine (SBGS) has reported that the enemy has changed its tactics and is now using small assault groups along the border with Sumy region. Earlier, there were rumors online about a supposed mass breakthrough by Russian forces at the region’s border, but these have been debunked.
Sergiy Pyshkin, from the State Border Guard Service, said that the situation remains under control, and the Ukrainian Armed Forces are working hard to prevent any attempts by the enemy to penetrate their territory.
