EU Council Warns Georgia to Improve Democracy
The European Union Council has released a report criticizing Georgia’s progress in democracy. The council says that Georgia should return to the EU path and adopt reforms.

Georgia is asked to investigate all election-related issues and allegations. The EU Council also encourages the country to consider recommendations from other organizations, such as OSCE/ODIHR and the Council of Europe.
The European Union wants Georgia to improve its democracy by adopting democratic reforms. This includes making sure that civil society groups can operate freely and participate in decision-making processes.
