**European Parliament to Discuss New Elections in Georgia**
The European Parliament will vote on a resolution on November 28. The resolution will discuss the importance of holding new elections in Georgia.
According to Tina Bokuchava, chairwoman of the United National Movement, this is a critical moment for Georgia’s relations with the EU. She said that if the Georgian Dream government does not agree to hold new elections, it will be impossible to restore relations between Georgia and the European Union.
**New Elections are Key to Ending International Isolation**
Bokuchava believes that holding new elections is the only way to bring Georgia out of international isolation. “We continue to meet with MEPs,” she said. “They see that the October 26 elections did not reflect the free will of the Georgian people.”
**Release of President Saakashvili Also Demanded**
The European Parliament’s resolution will also call on the Georgian government to release President Mikheil Saakashvili from prison. Bokuchava believes this is essential for Georgia’s relations with the EU.
