More Money for the Government

Taxes on Cigarettes and Gaming Businesses Go Up
The tax on cigarettes will now be 20 tetris, which is higher than before. The tax on IQOS, a device used to smoke e-cigarettes, will also go up to 15 tetris. The tax on profits made by businesses that run games and online casinos will increase by 5%.
Reducing Risks for Young People
Mamuka Mdinaradze said that these changes are necessary because the current rules did not work well. He wants to reduce the risks that young people face when it comes to gaming and online casinos.
