In June, South Korean Defense Shin Won-sik reported that North Korea had provided Russia with as many as 4.8 million artillery shells.

**Growing Alliances**

The deepening alliance between Russia and North Korea has led to growing relations between and Ukraine. South Korean President Yoon Suk Yeol said at a press conference on November 7 that the country does not rule out providing arms to Ukraine, a move that could strengthen its ties with Kyiv.
