Firefighters Refuse to Help Police
In a bold move, several firefighters in Georgia refused to do their job. They emptied water from a fire truck onto the street.
The firefighters were supposed to fill up water cannons near the parliament. These cannons are used by police to scatter protesters. But instead of doing their job, the firefighters stopped their truck and poured out the water on the street.
People nearby cheered for what they saw as a brave act. They called it an example of “civic heroism”. The firefighters showed they were not willing to help the police in dealing with the protest.
