**No Strikes on Ukrainian-Russian Energy Facilities**
There have been no attacks on energy facilities in Ukraine or Russia since a partial ceasefire was agreed upon on March 25. This is according to Heorhii Tykhyi, a spokesperson for the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.
Tykhyi confirmed this at a press briefing on March 27. He said that there had been no attacks on either side’s energy facilities since March 25. This ceasefire was agreed upon following technical consultations with the US in Riyadh earlier this week.
**What Happened Before**
Russia claimed that it had already stopped attacking Ukraine’s energy facilities on March 18. However, Ukrainian officials disputed this claim, saying that Russia continued to attack their energy infrastructure even after Putin’s supposed pause.
In fact, President Volodymyr Zelensky‘s advisor, Dmytro Lytvyn, said that Russia carried out at least eight attacks against Ukrainian energy facilities between Putin’s claimed pause and the agreement in Riyadh on March 25.
**Other Attacks Continue**
Despite the partial ceasefire on energy facilities, Russia has continued to attack other civilian targets. The country launches hundreds of drones every day and inflicts civilian casualties.
**Ukraine Has a Plan**
The Ukrainian Foreign Ministry spokesperson said that Ukraine has presented a list of energy facilities it sees as protected by the partial truce. If Russia violates this agreement, increased pressure will be necessary to make Moscow adhere to the deal.
