The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs is “concerned about” Georgia’s legislative election

The French Ministry of Europe and expressed concern about recent developments, following the publication of the first findings of OSCE Institutions and Human Rights on the legislative election in . These findings indicate “pressure, intimidating and intimidation” of voting and “democratic regress” – the French Ministry of Europe and Affairs wrote of the legislative election in Georgia held on October 26.
“We expect the Georgian government to investigate the violations that were revealed before and during the vote and to implement the recommendations of the OSCE, and the Council of Europe of through (known as the Venice Commission).
The statement concludes that “respect and protection of the fundamental , as well as political pluralism and the civil society is needed for Georgia to confirm their European basis.”
