Georgia’s Ambassador Called to Account by Moldova
Moldova has summoned Georgia‘s ambassador after the Georgian Prime Minister made some statements about their elections. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moldova explained why they called the ambassador in.
The minister said that the Georgian leader, Irakli Kobakhidze, had spoken poorly about Moldova’s electoral process and its bid to join Europe. This was not what Moldova wanted to hear.
Kobakhidze said some things on November 7th. He talked about problems with elections in Georgia and then mentioned Moldova’s election process. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Moldova didn’t like this and decided to call the Georgian ambassador to discuss it.
