The Ink Factory will co-produce with Amusement Park a TV adaptation of the international bestseller by Nino Haratatischvili. This epic saga follows a Georgian Family from 1900 until the dawn of the 21st Century.
The Ink Factory, which won Emmys for The Night Manager and The Little Drummer Girl, as well as the four-time Oscar-winning All Quiet on The Western Front, are collaborating to adapt Nino Hartatischvili’s international bestseller The Eighth Life into a television show.
The Eighth Life is the epic and mythic story of a Georgian Family from 1900 to the dawn of the 21st Century. It follows the rise and fall the Soviet Union, and the journeys of generations through ancient mountain cave cities, turbulent streets of Tbilisi, revolutionary Prague, 1960s Soho, and modern day Berlin.
