Fire crews battled fires in the suburbs of Moscow. A woman was injured by falling debris.
Early this morning, Russian officials reported that around 30 drones were intercepted above the capital. The Russian Defense Ministry confirmed later that 34 drones had been neutralized in the Moscow Oblast, and a total 70 drones had been taken down on Russian territory.
The attack is a testament to Ukraine’s growing drone manufacturing. Kyiv developed long-range drones with a range of up to 1,000 km, as Western allies restricted the supply of weapons for strikes against Russian territory. Officials report that thousands of drones are produced each month, ranging from reconnaissance models to long-range combat ones.
