Yesterday, 28 new draft laws were published by Mikheil Kavelashvili. He was recently elected President of the country.
The laws include changes to a law about gatherings and protests. Under this law, people cannot wear masks or cover their faces during rallies. They are also not allowed to use laser pointers or fireworks.
Other laws increase fines for breaking rules and make it easier to change how public services work. These new laws went into effect as soon as they were published.
Mikheil Kavelashvili was inaugurated as President yesterday.
