MEPs Visit Georgia
A meeting between opposition party leaders and MEPs has ended.
The “Unity-National Movement”, “Strong Georgia” coalition, “Coalition for Change”, and “Gakharia for Georgia” parties were represented.
Yesterday, MEP Rasa Juknevičienė said she was coming to Georgia with her colleagues. She wrote that the country‘s situation is why they are visiting.
The MEPs plan to meet with the President, non-governmental organizations, and the media during their visit.
MEP Rasa Juknevičienė wrote on X: “I’m going to Tbilisi with my European Parliament colleagues to show support for Georgians fighting for a European future.”
She said they would also meet with the President, opposition parties, civil society groups, and journalists.
