According to the Ukrainian military, Russian forces are concentrating assault groups near the towns Robotyne & Pryiutne, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast (southern Ukraine), possibly preparing for future offensive operations.
The Ukrainian military had reported earlier that Russian troops could soon begin assaults in the direction Robotyne, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. This would add another axis to the ongoing offensives in Donetsk Luhansk and Kharkiv Oblasts.
Vladyslav Voloshyn stated on 9 October in a television broadcast that although large-scale attacks have not yet started, the Russian military has already placed personnel of assault groups near these locations in forward positions, according to Ukrinform.
