**New Parliament Ignores Opposition’s Requests**
The new Georgian parliament has refused to consider several important draft resolutions. These included proposals about Russia and Ukraine, as well as Georgia joining the North Atlantic Alliance.
These ideas were put forward by the opposition in the previous parliament. However, the committees of the new parliament have decided that they are not relevant now.
**No Work on Opposition’s Ideas**
The new parliament has approved a list of draft laws from the previous parliament that will continue to be worked on. Unfortunately, this list does not include any ideas put forward by the opposition.
The head of the parliamentary committee on foreign relations said it was not right to consider these old proposals now. He also said that the way they were proposed was not suitable for the new parliament.
