Norway Speaks Out Against Georgian Imprisonments
The Norwegian government is protesting against the imprisonment of a journalist in Georgia. Mzia Amaglobeli was taken into custody for doing her job.
The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs says that Mzia’s arrest is not an isolated incident. They claim that many media representatives and protesters have been treated unfairly by the Georgian authorities.
Mzia needs to be released immediately, according to Norway. The country wants people in Georgia to be able to express their opinions without fear of being punished.
