The opposition parties, facing a Georgian Dream win, have begun discussing their reaction. They claim that the disruptions at many polling stations during the day, the lack of voting space at polling station abroad – meaning that voters waited for hours, and some ran out time and couldn’t vote; and the use of propaganda, threats and voter-buying to influence voters, especially in the regions means “that the Georgian people had their European future stolen from them.”
“Georgia is now officially an autocracy.” They said that the election was not free or fair.
At a late-night press briefing, opposition members announced that a series of protests will begin tomorrow and that appeals for annulment would be made.
