**Opposition Protests Planned**
A group opposing the ratification plans to hold a rally today, as they believe it’s about selling apartments in Abkhazia to Russia. Five activists were arrested last night after a scuffle with a parliament member. While three of them have been released, two are still being held.
**Situation Under Control**
Abkhazia’s president, Aslan Bzhania, claims that the situation is under control and that the government has enough power to ensure order in the country. He also says that efforts are underway to unblock highways blocked by opposition supporters late last night.
**Highway Blocked**
Opposition supporters had blocked Gumista and Kodori bridges, but authorities say they’re working on clearing the roads. The situation is tense, with the government promising to take measures to prevent further unrest.
