Mikheil Kavlelashvili Will Be Sworn In As President.
On December 29, Mikheil Kavlelashvili will take the oath of office at the Parliament Palace. This event marks his official start as president.
The ceremony is being organized by the parliamentary administration. Those attending will include members of the Electoral College, government officials, and representatives from constitutional bodies. The president’s family has also been invited.
Kavlelashvili was elected as president on December 14 at the Parliament Palace. He was the only candidate for the position and won the election with 224 votes from members of his party, Georgian Dream. The opposition did not participate in this election.
