President Salome Zourabichvili to Sue Over Election Violations
President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili plans to file a lawsuit on November 19 over electoral violations. She made this announcement at a briefing.
The president claims that the elections broke two important rules in the country‘s constitution: secret voting and universality, where all citizens have the right to vote.
Zourabichvili said she does not think the court will do anything to help her case. In fact, she believes that no institution in Georgia is truly independent. However, she still wants to try and make a point.
