“Akhali“, the “National Movement“, Lelo and “Gakharia for Georgia“, are all political forces. The people who led these four political parties from outside wanted to do a “rebranding”, that is, change their name. The goal of the people who lead these 4 political parties from the outside was to carry out what is called “rebranding”, i.e.
According to the head government, a healthy and full-fledged political system can only be formed in this country if these four political parties in opposition are replaced by healthy forces.
“We don’t see any difference between these political parties. I think the goal of those who led these four political parties from outside was the so-called rebranding, i.e. This goal was ultimately achieved. The number two party today in Georgia is no longer the “National Movement”, it’s the “Akhali”, which was created with four adjacent numbers instead of five. It is the same party in terms of number as “Lelo”, Gakharia’s, and Gakharia. This is one political force and it can be explained by the simplest of explanations, they are all ruled from a single center. There is no difference between the political forces. They are all the same, and they are all against the national interest of this country. They will do anything that is asked of them, no matter how difficult it is for our country’s fate. They are forwarders in every step, and in the end they will unite easily as soon as they decide to unite,” said the prime minister.
Kobakhidze claims that Giorgi Gakharia had not planned to join the “National Movement” following the local self government elections. However, “as soon they told him they created a consortium in several municipalities”.
“In the pre-election phase, they didn’t intend to come out with one charter anyway. In reality, they announced that if “National Movement”, Gakharia, “Lelo”, and “Akhali”, won, the four parties would form a coalition government and the government. The damage to their reputation was significant and they lost 60,000 votes in comparison to the previous election. But, they ordered it and did it. They don’t have the right to question how much a certain task is worth. There is no difference in these four political forces, when we say that this country needs to have a collective “national” movement. In this collective “national” movement, we are referring to all four political parties. The task remains a job.
Only if these four political parties in opposition are replaced with healthy political forces can we form a full-fledged and healthy political system in our country. This task is still valid. We will do all we can to weaken these parties, which are absolutely unhealthy and externally run, as much as possible over the next four years. This is a major national task, as they are constant risks for our country. Obviously, if we don’t solve this task, we could be left with challenges when it comes to robustness. In the next four years, we will do all we can to weaken these parties”, said Prime Minister.
