**Parliament Plans Changes to Investigative Commission Rules**
The Georgian Parliament plans to make changes to its rules of procedure regarding the work of a temporary investigative commission. This was announced by Tea Tsulukiani, Vice Speaker of Parliament and head of the Commission Investigating the Activities of the Regime and Its Political Officials from 2003-2012.
Tsulukiani thinks that the current rules are outdated and need to be updated to make them more “modern”. She wants to give members of the commission more authority and flexibility in their work. The commission will investigate a wide range of issues, including prisons, courts, elections, and government officials.
**What Will Be Investigated**
The commission will look into several areas:
* Prisons: how they are run and managed
* Courts: how justice is delivered
* Elections: how they were held and what was done to ensure fairness
* Government officials: their actions and decisions
* War: the activities of politicians during this time
Tsulukiani encourages citizens to come forward with information based on facts if they have concerns about these issues.
