Protesters Gather in Tbilisi, March to City Court
People gathered at the Tbilisi Mall and then walked to the City Court. They plan to keep protesting on Rustaveli Avenue, near the Parliament building.
The police accompanied the protesters during their march. The crowd tried to block a road near the shopping center several times, but the police eventually let traffic resume. There were physical and verbal fights between the police and protesters.
Some people were arrested, including leaders from opposition parties. Two of these leaders are Gigi Ugulava and Nika Melia. Some citizens felt sick during the protest and got medical help.
