**Public Defender Criticizes Police Behavior**
The Public Defender, Levan Ioseliani, has spoken out against police behavior in Georgia. He is concerned about the way police have treated citizens, journalists, and politicians.
Videos of police using excessive force and making verbal insults have been shared online. The Public Defender’s office says this behavior is unacceptable. They are investigating each case and will take action if necessary.
The Public Defender has asked the Special Investigation Service to look into these cases and hold those responsible accountable. He also wants the Ministry of Internal Affairs to review the police officers’ actions.
Representatives from the Public Defender’s office will visit people who have been detained, including politicians.
**Report Human Rights Violations**
If you see police treating people unfairly, you can report it by calling the Public Defender’s hotline at 1481. This number is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
