The rally began with the anthems for Georgia and the European Union.
The participants will once again shout loudly in the world: “Georgia Is Europe!”
The chairs of the Foreign Relations Committees of the eight EU countries who are visiting Georgia have already joined in the action on Rustaveli Avenue. Members of the delegation marched towards the ongoing rally infront of the Parliament building.
The protesters do not accept the results of the parliamentary election and, therefore, the legitimacy of parliament, and demand a re-election.
After the speeches by the representatives of Georgian civil society and opposition parties, the chairmen from the foreign committees in the parliaments of 8 countries addressed a gathered public.
