**Two Governors Removed from Positions**
The governors of Kyiv and Poltava Oblasts, Ruslan Kravchenko and Filip Pronin, were removed from their positions on December 30.
According to a Telegram post by lawmaker Yaroslav Zhelezniak, the two men are expected to be appointed as heads of tax and financial supervision commissions. This move comes after President Volodymyr Zelensky hinted at upcoming personnel changes.
Kravchenko had been governor of Kyiv Oblast since April 2023, while Pronin held the same position in Poltava Oblast since October 2023. Before becoming governors, they both worked on anti-corruption efforts.
Their dismissals were approved by the government several days ago, and official decrees have now been signed.
