The UK completes basic training of 200 Ukrainian future F-16 Pilots

Luke Pollard, UK Minister of the Armed Forces, announced on 22 Oct that the had reached a major milestone in its support of Ukraine’s . It has trained 200 through its Royal Air Force Elementary Flying Program.
According to earlier reports, the UK training program includes basic flight instruction, ground school and language training. As Britain does not own F-16s made in the USA, it focuses its initial flight training on young Air Force Pilots.
The UK Royal Air Force reports that UK Armed Forces minister Luke Pollard, and Ukrainian Ambassador to Britain, General Valerii Zaluzhnyi attended the latest graduation ceremony at RAF Cranwell.
