**Funds Supporting Protesters Frozen**
Three public funds in Georgia have been frozen. They were helping people who were fined or lost their jobs because of their involvement in anti–government protests.
These funds were managed by journalist Nanuka Zhorzholiani, former Prime Minister Nika Gilauri‘s organization Prosperity Georgia, and Human Rights House Tbilisi.
The first to report the freeze was Nanuka Zhorzholiani. She said her bank told her that a court had ordered the account to be frozen.
These funds were helping people pay fines of up to $1,800 for things like blocking roads during protests.
