Dimitri Gvritishvili, a member of the Supreme Council of Justice, has confirmed that Nana Jokhadze and Tamar Bezhanishvili have declined to go to the United States on an educational trip from April 22-30.
Gvritishvili posted on Facebook: “This is a show of solidarity.”
The US State Department sanctioned the following four judges on 5 April: Mikheil Chinchaladze (Michael Chinchaladze), Levan Murusidze (Irakli Shengelia), and Valerian Tsertsvadze (Valerian Tsertsvadze) for their involvement in corrupt practices.
