Georgian Citizen Dies in Warsaw Brawl
A 31-year-old Georgian citizen was stabbed to death during a fight in front of a restaurant near Constitution Square in Warsaw.
According to police reports, the victim died in hospital from his injuries. Three other Georgians were also hurt in the brawl, which involved eight people in total.
Polish law enforcement has arrested three Georgian citizens over the incident. This is not an isolated case – last year, 2,589 Georgian citizens were expelled from Poland and 322 remain in prison.
The issue of Georgian gangs in Warsaw was recently highlighted by the city’s Mayor, Rafał Trzaskowski.
