On the night of 22 October, Russian occupiers conducted an airstrike in a residential area of Sumy.
Censor.NET reported that the Sumy Regional military administration made this announcement.
The enemy has used Shahed drones to strike.
“The effects of the enemy’s attacks are being clarified.” There are preliminary reports that civilians have been injured. “Emergency rescue services are on the scene,” reads the statement.
Later, the acting mayor of Sumy, Andriy KOBZAR, reported that three people including a child were killed in a nighttime strike against private houses of the regional centre.

According to Suspilne‘s report, there were again explosions heard in Sumy at around 6:30 am.
Kobzar said that the enemy continued to shell Sumy.
