Three winners announced in the She’s Next Empowered By Visa Pitch Contest for women business ideas

The top 10 business ideas pitch contest participants of the 4th wave in , She’s Next Empowered By , have revealed 3 winners.
The winners were determined by an independent jury of five professionals from the field. Each winner received a monetary award of 10,000 GEL to implement their business ideas. The winners will also receive a mentoring session in order to help them kickstart their business.
She’s Next Empowered By Visa in Georgia is committed to empowering local women entrepreneurs and elevating them by offering diverse resources including funding opportunities to help them start, develop and scale their business.
The following are the authors of the winning business ideas:
* Anna Gigashvili – Startup “Zest” – an application about productivity on smartphone and smartwatch platforms
* Mariam Labahua – “Cats and Dogs”, a web platform that connects pet owners with caregivers
* Nino Nutsubidze “Rebooked”, an online booking platform for bars, restaurants, and cafes
The contest, which is being held in with Visa and the Business Federation “” and the USAID aims to encourage and support women in Georgia in exploring new business opportunities and setting up their own ventures.
Before the pitching event, the top 10 participants were guided by industry experts on branding, digital , products, marketing, communication and .
The contest was launched as part of the global She’s Next Empowered by Visa Initiative in partnership with Business Federation “Women for Tomorrow” and with support from USAID Economic Security Program. Participants were selected according to pre-established rules and criteria.
