Transparency International Georgia provided information on their status for the upcoming elections on October 26 via Facebook. The Anti-Corruption Bureau announced on October 4, that it had decided to reject the initial classification of Eka Gigauri, the executive director of Transparency International Georgia.
The revocation of the license means that TI Georgia is free to observe elections in full without any restrictions. The statement reveals TI Georgia’s ability to monitor the elections this year without any restrictions, as no legal obligations are imposed on them.
