**Opposition Chairwoman Supports Mamuka Khazaradze’s Views on State Funding**
Tina Bokuchava, the chairwoman of “United National Movement,” agrees with Mamuka Khazaradze, the leader of “Strong Georgia.” She thinks state funding for political parties is a good idea.
Bokuchava wrote on her Facebook page that she fully supports Khazaradze’s views. She said that opposition unity is very important right now and wouldn’t say more.
**State Funding for Political Parties**
Seven political unions are supposed to get state funding from November 26. These groups include “Georgian Dream – Democratic Georgia” and “United National Movement.” However, one group, “Coalition for Change,” declined the funding.
Mamuka Khazaradze said that some opposition members who criticized state funding were actually working with “Georgian Dream.” He thinks this is not fair.
Khazaradze also stated that his party’s salaries and mandates will be canceled if they don‘t get new ones. The funds will be used to help people affected by protests instead.
**Open Debate**
Khazaradze called on other opposition members to reveal where their funding comes from. He said he didn’t get a clear answer when he asked about it in private.
Khazaradze wrote that the debate should be open and honest. He thinks some parties are confusing voters for their own benefit.
