**Georgia’s Leader Promises Freedom for Saakashvili**
The leader of the Unity – National Movement, Tina Bokuchava, has spoken out against a recent court decision in Georgia. She says the ruling is meaningless and illegal.
Bokuchava was responding to a decision by Judge Mikheil Jinjolia of the Tbilisi City Court. The judge sentenced former President Mikheil Saakashvili to life imprisonment. Bokuchava claims that this is part of a larger conspiracy led by Bidzina Ivanishvili, a wealthy businessman who has significant influence in Georgia.
**Saakashvili Speaks Out**
According to Bokuchava, Saakashvili has predicted that he would be sentenced to life imprisonment by the “Russian regime” backed by Ivanishvili. She claims that this is an attempt to silence him and maintain control over Georgia.
**Freedom for Georgia and Saakashvili**
Bokuchava is confident that Saakashvili’s freedom, along with that of the country itself, is inevitable. She points out that history will ultimately show this, regardless of the current state of affairs in Georgia.
