Tina Bokuchava Rejects Rumors of Prime Minister’s Resignation
The leader of the “Unity – National Movement”, Tina Bokuchava, has responded to rumors that Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze may leave his post.
According to Bokuchava, this would be just another trick by Bidzina Ivanishvili, the honorary chairman of the ruling party “Georgian Dream“. She claims that people are waiting for real changes and not just a change in leadership.
Bokuchava believes that the international community is aware that Ivanishvili holds the true power. Replacing Kobakhidze with another figure would be seen as nothing more than a game of musical chairs, she said.
“Our partners know very well that Ivanishvili is the real source of this criminal group,” Bokuchava stated. She warned that neither the international community nor the Georgian people will fall for such tactics.
