Protest Outside Parliament in Georgia Continues.
Tina Bokuchava, chairman of “Unity – National Movement”, spoke to citizens gathered outside the parliament building. She said that the protest will go on and that international partners should know that the Georgian people are against Russia’s special operation.
Bokuchava reminded everyone of the “Rose Revolution” in 2003. At that time, Mikheil Saakashvili was a president who had good ideas for changing Georgia. Now, he is being treated unfairly by the Russian regime because of those same ideas.
The chairman said that people were willing to stand outside in cold and rainy weather for hours or even days. She asked them to remember how they felt during the “Rose Revolution” when many were fighting for a better future.
Bokuchava pointed out that President Saakashvili is being punished by the Russian regime because of his ideas. She said that the only way to solve this problem is with strength, unity, and forgiveness among the people.
