We are many, but we understand that this is an ongoing battle that will lead us to victory! Tina Bokuchava addressed the citizens of Rustaveli who were protesting the election results. She said: “We do not recognise the legitimacy of this Parliament, we do no recognize the rigged polls, we refuse the mandates and open the lists, we demand new elections until we win!”
According to her, Bidzina ivanishvili (honorary chairman of “Georgian Dream”) “stolen victory of Georgian people”.
Bokuchava argues that the parliament won’t be legitimate until it is re-elected by an administration with international actors who are confident and faithfully reflect the will of Georgians and the European choice.
“We are here so that Ivanishvili can hear your voice and our voice. We will definitely return the European, National victory of October 26.” We will not tolerate stolen or hijacked elections. We will not accept Russia‘s special operations, which Ivanishvili calls election, while the right to vote and the institution of voting are taken away from us. On October 26, you, the Georgian people who are free, won, not Russia!
I want to thank you all, I want to thank every Georgian who, despite intimidation and blackmail, threats and violence, came to vote and made their own choice, saving the European future of Georgia. We thank you for your loyalty, and we are united in our fight.
We all know that now is the wrong time to look at differences. We need to save our country, and we can only do that by working together.
This parliament, where Ivanishvili plans to usher in people whose mandates were won through rigged, stolen elections, will be illegitimate until new elections take place, with an administration that is staffed by international actors who will have faith and faithfully reflect both the will of Georgians and the European choice.
